Nice work on the brackets, they look factory made. And yes I'm back on active duty flying the C-17 Globemaster. My guys at Edwards are doing the same along with lots of other cool stuff you see everyday!

Thanks agian Chuck, your build was always one of my favorites. Especially the dash. I am going with stock set-up only cause my Gauge panel is really nice, I also have a billet type I got off craigslist for $40 in a package. Going to use it as a back up with quick disconnects. If cannon plugs weren't to pricey I would do it like a Jet.

Re: 56 Chev Garage build

Thanks Kabwe, was going to use fin valve covers but ever where I go they seem to be over done with retro look going on now. So I modified the stockers that came with gm block my brother bought.

What is the air cleaner made from? Alum or stainless? it looks like what I have, and i am trying to decide what to do with it. Love the look of what you did.

Re: 56 Chev Garage build

Outstanding work. Did you cut and weld in the angle iron so the lip of the tank had a place to sit? What year tank is that for? I've got to start taking more pictures. I always seem to forget to take the before shots of mine.

Re: 56 Chev Garage build

Yes the crossmember was cut out to get rid of swoop and it gives the rear of tank a place to bolt on flush fit. It is a 1967 mustang tank new on ebay I think I paid less than $50. here is a link wih better pics than mine.
