Re: First Show I entered my truck into.....

Say...how about some pics of the interior? Did the stock trucks come with white mirrors? From the '68 brochure it looks like they were all bright or silver. I am curious since I intend to put my back to stock and want to get it right. The white is a nice accent with the top.

Re: First Show I entered my truck into.....

Thanks for all the congrats! Sorry to everyone that asked questions, been a crazy day at work.
1 Yes, that was Sam Memmolo. He was the m.c. or special guest at the car show.
2 Sorry, there's not much to show on the interior yet. Still working on it. But it was either black vinyl/plastic, or yellow metal, lol. Didn't dress em up too much in '68. The mirror heads were white originally.
3 Someone asked about the paint code. On the glove box door it says:
455OAD LT YELLOW/OFF WHITE. I didn't 100% verify that my paint guy went exact, but I know it is very close. at least as far as my eyes can tell.

Again, thanks for all the congrats, that means a lot to me as many good looking trucks as there are on this site. And I'll look at the thread closer later tonight, and make sure I didn't miss any questions.

I think we have twins! whatīs your VIN
I have the same color and itīs the original paint. Either the color you have isnīt the same or mine is just faded out. On the picture the card is surounded by the yellow.
