WIW - NOS bed wood for long bed - Central PA

Not sure if i'm gonna use it or not but I have NOS black bed wood (still has dealer stickers) that I might get rid of. If I go to sell what's the interest or price? I would even consider a trade for some new Oak SWB bed wood...

I'll post pics next weekend if needed...

I don`t want to give a WIW with people already in line to buy it.

The thread kinda migrated into that I guess, you can still give a number Tim, I don't know that it will go for sale or trade...

I was thinking, $400ish, even though it's NOS, it is in fact only wood and not a door or tailgate that's perfect from the dealer. But NOS is NOS when a guy wants to go original...

Re: WIW - NOS bed wood for long bed - Central PA

I have a true NOS set already installed in a 72 long box with the stickers still visible on the under side. If it was here local I would pay $300 in a heart beat but shipping that 8' 2" pieces could add another $100+ to that.

Re: WIW - NOS bed wood for long bed - Central PA

Im not interested for that amount. I would cut it up to use in a short step bed.

Re: WIW - NOS bed wood for long bed - Central PA

In the GM parts book it lists a combination of about 4-6 part numbers to do the fleetside bed floor. It also says "requires holes drilled and some trimming" in the foot note. And my 1970 printed book shows no listing differences in long or short box so all these parts were made to be cut down anyway.

Re: WIW - NOS bed wood for long bed - Central PA

That would explain why the PO had the longbed wood then... You could only get it that way. This set came with my truck when i purchased it two years ago...
