neat trick I used, to make a pattern, very thin aluminum sheet, easy to cut and keeps a form.

Well maybe if you spent less time driving up and down backlanes and more time working on your truck you would know!

Time for some progress updates.
Not much happening, I now have pretty much all the hard to find parts that I need. Still need to get a tailgate and front fenders, other then that I have all the sheet metal. I will be using the bedsides and rockerboxes from this Blazer.

Managable rust but there is a major dent in one panel that will be interesting job to take out.

Last one for now. I am racing to get the bed floor welded together, get all the attaching points on it and painted before the snow flies. During the winter I should have all of the body panels fixed up and ready to be mounted come spring.

Wow....you are hauling on that project!

Thanks for saving that Jimmy....a 2wd Jimmy is just too cool to send to the crusher....

Are you going to keep it pretty much stock when it starts coming together?

Yup, stock right down to the hubcaps. You don't see too many stockers and I don't want something everyone else has.

Wow it's kind of scary seeing one cut in half like that. Looking forward to seeing more progress.

Stock is the way to go in my book, some parts are getting too hard to find for what they are, like the correct rims. Good luck on the project and it looks great so far.
