79 K5 Cheyenne BLAZER
So this 79 K5 is sitting down the street with a for sale sign.
It's a looker for sure. I called the guy and he said it has been completely gone through, motor, AC, etc. I looked inside the window and the interior looks new. He is asking 15K. He said the color is Hawaiian blue. What are your thoughts. Not sure on the value. Thanks |

What's with the paint behind the door handle? Is it a scratch protector? For that kind of money, it'd have to be perfect and restored to the way it was on the showroom floor - no orange motors with headers, aluminum intake, chrome breather etc. Same for the interior. The only thing I see that bugs me a little is the vent windows are original and not refurbed. That's not a big deal. I'd like to see more of the truck but 15K is too much for me.

The price seemed step to me but after seeing a 72 go for 75k at Barrett Jackson lately I thought maybe 15k was not to far of a stretch. Not sure what the motor looks like, but I think I'll have a look this weekend and go from their in determining a good buy price. |

I actually think that's a pretty good price if it's rust free. I just got done building one and you can save yourself a whole lot of time and headache and just buy one done!
