wheel spacers

I would like to run 1/4 inch wheel spacers on the front of my '72 (long story). Im concerned about the wheel making good contact with the hub though. the hub measures out to about 1/2 inch, so would i be ok with the 1/4 inch wheel spacers and would i need longer studs? thanks

Re: wheel spacers

im running 5 mm in the front with stock studs. i cleaned the rotor surface real good with a wire wheel before mounting. be sure to check your lug torque frequently to be sure nothings backing off. hope this helps.
