Re: USA1 Industries

I have heard they make very good quality stuff, but are a small outfit and that shipping can be really slow compared to some of the larger companies out there.

Re: USA1 Industries

They offer quality door panels, dashes and headliners, some in original colors that you can’t find elsewhere. That being said they do have long lead times...I ordered a headliner at the beginning of September, and got it in mid December after a few emails.
If you don’t mind waiting, then order early. If you don’t want to wait order elsewhere, but keep in mind the quality is probably not as good other places. Both my trucks have Mandarin interior, which is one of the primary reasons I have ordered from them. I’m about 2 hours from them but that doesn’t help unless I’m going to a car show that they will be at.

They are the best out there right now. And the color will be spot on correct. Unlike the 4 generic colors that the other places offer. I got the Silverado door panels from them. I couldn’t be happier with the quality.

Re: USA1 Industries

I see they they have two (2) styles, one for over $600, and the ones above for $170. Just want to be sure the cheaper ones are OK. Don't need anything fancy. I bought my old set from LMC and they both cracked over the first winter.

You can always call them and ask them what the difference in the liners are.

I called them and asked who manufactured them, and they could not tell me

Re: USA1 Industries

Ive used them twice. C/S, prices, and S&H are on par with everyone else. The shipping is terrible! They'll take your money and email a receipt immediately but your part will arrive 2-3 weeks later...

Remember they are a very small business that is trying to keep up with the high demand. They also build all their own dash pads, door liners and dyeing of those parts. So it is going to take time. I waited 2 months for my door panels, but it was well worth the wait. They are the only place that offer all the correct colors for our trucks. That’s better than what the other places offer, like 4 generic colors that don’t even match with the interior of your truck..
But you’ll get what you pay for. Look and see how many colors that LMC has.

I ordered my dash pad from them last year. While shipping was a little slow the quality and fit was worth the wait.

Re: USA1 Industries

Slowest shipping and worst customer service in the business by far. 4 months on some of my stuff, nothing matches, many lies when asking about ship dates. Sent 3 headliners before finally shipping the correct color that was listed on the order. I can deal with long lead times if companies are up front with it, but after all the lies I’ll do business elsewhere.

Re: USA1 Industries

I need to backtrack some of my previous post. I'm rebuilding my vent windows and ordered the glass from USA. Got the usual immediate email, charge, and receipt. Had better luck this time they emailed the next day shipping the glass and I got it 2 days later. Both times I've used USA the parts fit great. Cant always say this for LMC...

I have been waiting a year and half for door panels, sun visors, etc. Keep getting the delayed 90-120 days response from customer service. I think I have about 5 calls into customer service and they most recently wont even give me an answer over the phone.

Not looking good for me then. I am at about 7 months since i ordered their interior kit and i am also waiting for the door panels and visors and they have told me the same 90-120 more days.

As far as i can tell the only reason to use USA1 is for their interior kit and factory colored dye. And I also believe that their dashes are Dashes Direct brand that they dye in house. Everything else that i ordered from them is the same Chinese crap that everyone else sells.

Re: USA1 Industries

Oh "HELL NO"!! I just placed an order for door panels and dash pad 4/2022, USA-1 customer service assured me of the "10-16 week lead time"! I will be USA-1's worst form of advertisement on this forum and other forums if they take it past 16 weeks. TKCR, you stand up for USA-1, I understand were you are coming from, but.....

1.) USA-1, Don't take orders and state "10-16 week lead times", and know that is not true! If it could take 12 months, state "12 Month Lead Time"!!

2.) Not good customer service to require full payment up front and not deliver product in timely manner (as advertised).

My 16 week timeline is approching, I will reply then.....

Re: USA1 Industries

I was told if I wanted power window/power lock door panels I could get them in a couple weeks.

My question is if they are in fact manufacturing these themselves (which i doubt) why don't they make blanks and cut the power window and lock or manual crank openings and dye them at the time of the order?

It does piss me off that they take your money at time of order and not time of shipment and it could take a year and a half to get your parts!

At the end of the day they have they have the best repop door panels available so you only have a couple other options high dollar NOS or good used ones if you can find them or the typical LMC junk. I guess I will be waiting.

Re: USA1 Industries

I will say that when the time comes to order my re-pop interior I'll be ordering from USA1, but I still have an axe to grind. Specifically with the trim levels and the kits for interiors. So you can order Silverado or Custom Deluxe (CD) panel kits, but not a Scottsdale level trim. Fine. I will just have to order the additional trim inserts in crinkle black to match what comes with the crinkle black insert in the Scottsdale dash kit. But why is it so hard to just let us pick that option when buying the assembled door kits? It's like one extra drop down menu. You already have the parts and do these up in house (supposedly) so what's another checkbox on a build sheet and pulling some trim from another bin, am I right? Also, why does the CD door panel kit have the chrome door handle trim when the CD door panel they sell say it does NOT accept the chrome door handle trim? I love to support small business and American manufacturing, especially when they are outputting a quality product by most estimations, but man if it isn't mildly infuriating that some of the inconsistencies aren't dealt with. I would consider moving there to work for them if I thought I had the sauce to help them fix it, lol.

That is what I am planning on doing. I ordered the Silverado door panels and am going to toss the pull strap and chrome insert for the Scottsdale black insert. Only one problem. You need to find original Scottsdale inserts because as far as i know no body repops them. I feel your pain.

Yea, they are drilled for the pull straps. I have never seen a Scottsdale with pull straps.

I totally missed that. Probably because I want the straps just not the shiny backdrop that is the Silverado insert.
