Best I can remember red has always been a switch on and off for radio's, yellow is memory, black is ground. These are the basic three.
Any light bulb in the dash is operated by the head light switch so if you tap into any of them they will dim with the turn of the headlight switch. Now when you do this you have no light at all on the radio during the day until you turn on the head lights.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
