Are Chevy/GMC 8 lug wheels the same as Dodge and Ford?
I am looking for some Stock GMC/Chevy 8 lug wheels to put on my 90 Sub. I have found some for a Ford, some for a Dodge, but all the CHevy ones are too far to drive and too much to ship.
Is the hub cap locating bosses the same on all the 70'-80's 8 lug wheels or are they different? Is the hub hole the same or different? I want to get hub caps and don't want to put wheels on and find out only Ford or Dodge caps will fit. |

of the same year vintage yes the bolt pattern is the same . but the center hub hole is different . i forget who swap what way and who dont .

I have rims of a 80s 3/4 ton Ford on my 81 C20 with the Chevy hub caps.

Caps fit both - chevy hub opening is smallest as GM wheels are hub-centric. Others are lug-centric and hub opening is larger than GM hubs - and that is fine. Either type will work on GM.

These are the wheels I used off a Ford Van , 16x7 .. Had Powder coated w/ new tires . Will take O.E. GM Caps .

Thank you .. The 16x7 Accuride is stamped on the outer lip . seems to be pretty plentiful in the Portland , OR. area .. Check your vans / ambulances .. More than happy to keep an eye open if needed .. Added the stock GM Beauty ring , fit nice ..
