lowwering my truck

Ok i started out to lower my truck today by means of cutting the springs, This is just temporary till i get more money. Well i did the front i cut one coil out and it dropped it like 1.5 to 2 inches whats up with that?? The i started looking at the rear and i dont get how u can just cut the rear to cuz the springs taper into the holder. So what do i need to do bout that guys?? thanks.

buy some lowering blocks for the rear, you cannot cut the rear springs.
