$25 a week in gas and you are worried??? Sounds like a fair deal to me to drive one of these awesome trucks. Just cause the beer I drink costs $22 bucks + tax a case ...and don't ask how often I have to buy another case, doesn't mean I'm going sell out and start buying MiesterBrow to save some money. LOL!

Easy, dude!! I didn't realize that you were that easily set off. My post is titled "best economy package" and also the question mark (?) in the paragraph comes after the sentence where I inquired which engine/trans would result in optimum fuel consumption. Nowhere in my post did I ask if I should sell my truck and buy a 6 cyl truck or a rice burner. Again, post title : "best ecomony package". It's not my fault that this post went in several different directions. Really it's no ones fault, just fellow truck enthusiasts offering their opinions from different angles which, in my opinion, is NOT a waste of time. I'm sure no one forced you to read my post or to reply to it. If someone has misunderstood my question and goes awry on thier answer, so what? No big deal, no time wasted, and defintly no place to tell someone they are in error. According to several other replys to this topic, I see that I am not alone when I say this. No hard feelings and God bless.

JQ-72, I wasn't set off, I just would have liked to have known exactly what you were getting at so I would not have spent time addressing superfluous concerns. Obviously, everyone thinks I am totally in the wrong, so I must need to rethink my rationale. I apologize and right back at ya with the "God bless."
