Evening Guys I'm getting my frame ready for new paint today I noticed passengers side frame rail in the engine bay the frame is bent up don't remember what that's for can someone give me the low down on that Thanks saddletramp

Makes it a little easier to change the fuel pump as well.

Hmm. Always thought that was clearance for the big block fuel pump. Pretty sure it doesn’t exist on ‘67 trucks since no big block. Maybe even early ‘68 trucks where the factory trimmed the rail back for clearance. The inline motor is so narrow in comparison, it come nowhere near that.
