Performance online wilwood black out series booster

Hello has anyone installed this performance online wilwood master with brake booster kit on their trucks? I assembled everything and I can’t figure out how the long ass rod in the picture is used cause the rod to my pedal already sticks out almost passed my firewall and there’s no way I could use that rod unless I use the heim joint off the booster like I have it in the picture. Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated
