CL find. Nice looking truck.

My next truck will be a panel (I hope) but this fleetside sure looks good.

Re: CL find. Nice looking truck.

Very nice, looks low mileage with the smog gear still on the engine.
Price sounds cheap compared to asking prices on CL here in Kentucky.

I always enjoy the posts with above average CL trucks for sale. Thanks

If I hadn't just bought mine I'd be all over this one.

Re: CL find. Nice looking truck.

Nice truck! Price is very reasonable too.

I never knew those bug guards mounted to the grill? Is that common? Seems like it would be a pain to work on with that in the way? In all the years I've been looking at these trucks I've never paid attention to where those things actually mounted.

I agree that it is nice to see a truck like that and I would be all over it as well. Ads like this get me thinking 'is their room in the stable for one more'?. My buddy had a gorgeous 77 in the same color scheme

What a great truck for someone!
I bought one that had the same bug guard. Sadly it made a 400 grill worth next to nothing due to the holes all down the leading edge of the grill. Didn't know it mounted that way until I decided to go buy it. It was a parts truck so I cant complain.

I like the truck. Shame about the holes that will be left in the grille and bed when the accessories are removed.

So that is where they mount normally... odd... that's got to be a pain to pop the hood too... having to reach in between the front of the hood and the back of that thing to lift the hood.

They're supposed to mount to the underside of the hood if it's done right. This one was done in Tijuana.

Re: CL find. Nice looking truck.

So I drove 2 hours to see this truck today......offered him $5K over the phone and he took it....when i got there my offer dropped to $3500.

Cab corners are gone. Been sitting for a couple of years outside since pics were taken. Thanks Buddy for letting me spend 4 1/2 hours of my sunday driving to see your truck that looks nothing like the ad on CL@!!!!!

Great options...complete motor...doesn't run....inside is pretty trashed out.

Should have known when he said his grandfather, father and he were all used car salesmen.
