If the springs have been replaced with lift springs that will happen. My '70 Longhorn 4x4 has the same problem with the 3" lift springs, as you can see in this picture.... LockDoc

Here are the offset plates. One way off sets them about three quarters of an inch and the other way one and a half inch. I don't know who carries them, I bought these off of member "DieselWrencher". LockDoc
