Where to pruchase E-Brake cables?

I purchased e-brake parts for my 70 GMC C2500 from LMC. Absolutely nothing fit! Where can I order these parts that will be correct for my truck?

My bad, I didn't know how bad LMC was when making the purchase.

Re: Where to pruchase E-Brake cables?

I bought a complete set from Inline Tube - '71 GMC K2500, Dana 60. Nice cables but the rear ones were too short. They made longer ones for me but it took a long time with excessive communication & I had to pay for them. (in addition to the original purchase of incorrect cables)
I think the GMC 3/4 ton leaf spring trucks rear mounting location is different than the Chevy trucks. Inline Tubes data base is incorrect. Others have had the same issue.

I got mine from Inline tube also and it fit well on my 72 K20 with no issues.

Re: Where to pruchase E-Brake cables?

I got an intermediate cable from SOKY but it was about 8" to long so I took it to Rural King and bought one of those double cable clamps for making a loop and used one side and pounded it on in the parking lot with a hammer and it was working before I left the store.

Re: Where to pruchase E-Brake cables?

I should add it was short mainly because I'm running a 14 bolt full floater and the measurements are for an HO72.

Re: Where to pruchase E-Brake cables?

I got replacements for the rear axle cables on my Burban at NAPA. No regrets.

Did they have the cable from the brake assembly under the dash to the rear cable?

+1 on inline tube. They fit and look like original. I bought a kit that came with all the cables.

Re: Where to pruchase E-Brake cables?

I've heard good things about inline tube. Despite that, I went with the one from Rock Auto (I forget why, cheaper maybe?). At first I thought it was the wrong cable and too short, but then I figured out how to install it properly and it fit just fine and has given me no problems.

Re: Where to pruchase E-Brake cables?

I had the same LMC issue. They're not even close. I'm not sure HOW they get off selling some of the crap that goes in their boxes. I used to buy all of my stuff from them, but after that and an issue with some back up lights that weren't even close, I'm done with LMC.

Ended up getting some decent cables from Classic Parts that fit well. They do have a "10% off $100" sale right now if you're interested.
