Who's got pinstripes??

Show me the pinstripes!!!

I have a buddy here in town that is amazing at pinstriping and i turned him loose... i told him i didn't want anything to really take away from the "sleeper" style of the truck just something subtle... He freaking knocked it out of the park if you ask me.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yep, I like it. I am going to get the Panel Truck striped after I get it painted.

I’m an amateur, but I never let that stop me...

I just wanted to add a bit, I got some crap from a buddy about pinstriping right through a dent, but since I didn’t lay out a pattern, it wasn’t in my way when I started...just when I got there.

Yea man, it's your truck, do what you want... that's one thing i've learned though building my truck is someone out there always thinks you've done it wrong... but you know what..... it's not thier truck... it's yours. if you like it, then that's the only person you have to please. lol

Re: Who's got pinstripes??

Brian Stoner of Stoner Pinstriping & Custom Art did the striping on my truck while he was still near me (his studio is now in Vancouver, WA). I got to catch up with him and his daughter last week at the Grand National Roadster Show where he does the pinstriping for charity event.

This is fantastic. That's what I would do if I had the talent. Don't let a little dent get in the way of that art, plow right through it. It looks great and I don't think you can call yourself an amateur any more.

Re: Who's got pinstripes??

A-bomb, that looks great. It's a single set of stripes done as well as a pro. The thing I look for is thin free-flowing lines. Well, balance, too.

I always got my company trucks pinstriped and lettered by my buddy Chuck Gamber, aka Jack of Arts. www.jackofarts.net

I like pinstripe on most of my builds. I'm short on pictures with this newer computer. But I think some trucks in my gallery show pinstripes

Re: Who's got pinstripes??

I had my glovebox done sometime back along with the ashtray. Pulled it now waiting for wood faced ones to match my truck bed.
