Jim Carter August Truck of the Month - my K5

I recently had the pleasure of meeting GM Historian and antique truck hobby mogul Jim Carter at the recent Southeastern C10 Nationals all-GM truck show in Lebanon Tennessee. There were over 1000 trucks there and somehow my 72 Chevy K5 Blazer caught his eye and interested him enough he wanted to do this Truck of the Month write up on his website about it. I was very humbled at the honor since my truck didn't hold a candle to some of the unreal restorations I saw that day.

Here's the link to the August "Truck of the Month" article Jim wrote

I don't know much about Blazers so its no surprise I had never heard about the US Postal Service having anything to do with the development of the Blazer/Jimmy brand.

Congratulations!

Honestly though, it wasn't a surprise as to why he picked your Blazer, as it is most definitely a fine example of what they are.

Congratulations once again!
