How rare is this?

So is this a rare item, aftermarket arm rest, from a different vehicle?

It's interesting how the paint matches the inner door. Who would have taken the time to paint the brackets?

Maybe they just got lucky on a paint match or did it way back when it was fairly new. Either way it’s of and was just screws

It looks to be a ford Door rest from the '50s GM did not put stuff in these trucks unless you can find a built by fisher they did custom stuff like that for fire department military and Forrest Rangers.
