69/72 Chrome on Brass Caps

Have a pair of the blue bow tie 69-72 chrome on brass 1/2 ton hubcaps. Have wear and some use issues but also they have a good shine. Minor splits and pry marks, light depressions but will still show good for a driver. I know they are HTF and being soft brass they split easier than the 73-75 stainless variety. Have a $$ point in mind for the pair but interested in some input from other board members. Thanks.

Re: 69/72 Chrome on Brass Caps

I had a pair that the chrome was in worse shape, but no splits I sold for $100 shipped. That has been a little over a year ago though

Most women like the strong, silent type… Fortunately for me, my wife prefers the out-of-shape, mouthy type.

Re: 69/72 Chrome on Brass Caps

Thanks for the reply. The splits I mentioned are really small and with a bit of TLC many of the small depressions or "dents" can be massaged. Will post to the parts board later today. Would make a good pair for a nice daily driver.
