Square Body Stainless Mirrors

PRICE REDUCED AGAIN

Pair of the square body stainless steel D45 "Dumbo" style mirrors. Extend outward 8'' total from normal position by use of a stainless steel hex head set screw. Stainless steel mirror bodies and arms both are VERY nice, with one hair line light scratch on back of one mirror head. Glass is perfect and true rear vision reflection. Does NOT have the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" script. Made by the Retrac mfg. company, a division of Luverne Truck Equipment Co. For the truck owner who does occasional towing, these are a perfect replacement option for use with the original Dumbo style mirrors. No longer available per the Retrac website. Printed instructions with each mirror shows a quick, simple 5 minute change over for each mirror.

See the WIW section for a bit more info if interested. $50 plus shipping, money order, do not have Paypal.

Re: Square Body Stainless Mirrors

Is there a threaded hole in the bottom of the arm? Thinking of combining these with my DG4 brackets

Very intriguing idea for a "custom" mirror look. I did not show the ends of the mount tube in the pics as did not think about that aspect. The outside stainless tube is hollow with a second reinforcing tube inserted inside. I inserted a 7/16" threaded rod in the opening and it went in to a 3 and 3/4'' depth. Thinking using either JB Weld, a two part epoxy mix or similar with the full 3 3/4'' threaded rod length inserted and proper amount of thread exiting the tube it would be very easy to do such a mounting as you suggest. No need to drill and tap, should be a very easy, quick job to attach a threaded rod insert. Let me know if you have other questions and thanks for the interest.

Alright let me ponder on that one, let’s just say my driving style isn’t exactly gentle on things
