Now I want a Highlander Blazer more than ever.... Thinking maybe a Black/Black with avocado plaid like this truck. A bucket Blazer would look even better.

That blue one is pretty cool. Makes me want to spend a couple grand to get what I need to make mine a fakelander. Lol

Very sweet orange non promo package highlander jimmy. Even though it wasn't a package truck, it was ordered like a package C with tilt, a/c etc. Would be a very nice driver as is

Nice find, another Hidden Highlander! Aux Batery, 3.73 Positrac and a Tachometer too! It would be nice to see this taken back to a more stock look starting with the interior. That all black has got to go IMHO! :-)

BTW, GMC apparently didn't offer Promo Packages with the Highlander Plaid.

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Blazer/Jimmy?

I've been talking to him today. I have some more pics...it has wrong seats,208 transfer case, missing a/c components, white face nappy gauges, has had rust repair and needs more,
and it's painted the wrong color.
so what's it really worth ???? I offered him 10k and he wants more...

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Blazer/Jimmy?

Hi guys, I just joined after reading about the Highlander option. I have a 69 CST with highlander seats. The glove box decal is long gone. Does anyone know how to look up the options?

Welcome to the board! Really happy to hear that Highlanders brought you here!

Unfortunately once your SPID (option list) is gone there is little chance of knowing 100% what it said. GM didn't keep records down to the individual vehicle.

Plus there are added questions that come to mind.
Since Highlander plaid was a 72 only option what do you have? Were the plaid seats swapped into you vehicle or is it a 72 made to look like a 69.

At this point a couple of pictures would be great to see if you can post some up.

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Blazer/Jimmy?

I have not looked at the seats in a long while. Back seat has a cover and the fronts are in the barn. I wonder if it had houndstooth originally and the inserts were replaced with an orange plaid that I mistook for Highlander. I will have to go do some digging and compare to the pics on the is site. Thanx for the info. I plan to restore back to as stock as possible with the exception of a 500 caddy motor and a 4spd auto.

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Blazer/Jimmy?

Well good luck on you research.
Just so you know Houndstooth buckets were not factory offered in the 69-72 Blazers. Nor pickups actually either! The Highlander plaid Blazer had the only fabric insert bucket seats 67-72.
