Barn Door Hinge Pins/Bushings?

Does anybody know who sells a hinge pin and bushing kit for the barn doors on a 70 C10 Suburban? Will the front door kit work?

Pretty sure front door pins and bushing will work. I think you just need to cut them down in length. Good luck.

Bringing this thread back to life because I'm having no luck finding a barn door specific kit.

Wondering if there are members out there with tips and tricks to removing pin(s) and/or a source for correct pin/bushing kit for suburban barn doors.

I had TxFireman (sp) redo my barn door hinges and powder coat them. Same pins as the regular doors.

The Hinges where being stubborn, the hinge pin did not want to come out, I tried penetrating oil and heat but it didn’t want to budge. But I found if I ground the head off the hinge pin and use a socket to support the frame around the head area and one or two solid hits on the pin it came right out. The spring pin holding the slider was bent and had to be cut out with a small cutoff wheel in my Dremel and pushed out in small pieces.

Another detail I read was to use a 3/16 punch.

The way the hinge is constructed, both ends of the roll pin hole are 1/4" I.D. The center section of that hole is 3/16" I.D., so you cannot drive a 1/4" drift all the way through from top to bottom, which is what I initially tried. I was finally able to drive the roll pin out using a smaller diameter drift (well, a bolt, actually).
