UBER RARE 1956 or 57-59 GMC Power Steering

OK - it appears I am likely never going to get around to building another 1956 GMC, so the super super rare 1956-specific version of factory power steering I have hoarded for years might be something I would sell to the right guy.

At the time when I bought it, I did not know nor did the guy selling me the unit know that the pitman arm is PS-specific; so I didn't ask for it and he crushed it with the remainder of the truck. We now know there is a direct fit from a modern PS application, so finding 56-59 PS and it being like so many and not having the pitman arm, is not a big deal anymore. Kevin Rantuccio has the arms available for 200 each I think. I have a 57-59 unit available also with no pitman arm.

I paid the same 3500 dollars everyone pays for the 57-59 unit so you have to be "in the know" enough to know that is what they always cost, and are cool paying the same. The 56-specific one however is soooo much rarer because 56 was the first year of power steering on GMC's. So its $4,000.00 for that one. Both types are complete in every way with working pumps, correct GMC stamped 4 spoke pulleys, sectors and columns. Only thing missing on each is that pitman arm you will get from Kevin.

I will be in a training class all weekend, but you can text questions at 256 486 1988. No pictures at this time but if you have ever seen a pump or sector one looks exactly as another. Thanks for looking
