Complete Exhaust System and Headers

I had this in my 72 blazer and ran it for about a year before swapping exhaust systems.

Mufflers are Magnaflows 5x8 Oval 14" length.
Magnaflow Stainless Tips

Doug Thorely Try-Y Headers (372-y)

I would like to sell this as a complete system but would be willing to sell just the headers. Exhaust system obviously needs to be local pick up / willing to meet half way.

Asking $600 for the whole system with Headers

Asking $300 plus shipping for Headers only.

Re: Complete Exhaust System and Headers

How far are you from Sutter Ca? I might be interested in the exhaust alone. I have an ls3 so I’m thinking the flanges could possibly be cut and adapted to my downpipes. What kind of exhaust is it? Aluminized?

I'm 160 miles from Sutter or about 2 and 1/2 hours. Aluminized 2 1/2"

I could meet halfway like in Concord.

Re: Complete Exhaust System and Headers

Interested in headers, looked them up per part number, and how do they fit with accessory’s?
What accessories were you running. Any damage? Can we talk about shipping. Any photos of them installed.

Les

Les
1 5/8" primaries
2 1/2" collectors

14-gauge mild steel with 3/8 in. thick flanges and 5/16 in. collector rings

I ran these with AC on passenger side and alternator / PS driver side. For the AC I cut a section out of the lower side bracket that bolts to the stock manifolds. I used a spacers between the header flange bolt and bracket. Check out the pics.

Re: Complete Exhaust System and Headers

Can you post some pictures of the flanges so I can see the angle?

Re: Complete Exhaust System and Headers

I just want to make sure if I can adapt them to my down pipes. It looks like they are angled but I think I can make it work.

Here are some pics. Let me know if these help or if you need a different angle.

Re: Complete Exhaust System and Headers

I’m thinking it over. It looks like I can get it to adapt. I don’t have access to a pipe bender so I’m trying the think how I would get them to go in. I’ll let you know.

Re: Complete Exhaust System and Headers

I’ll take the exhaust for $300 if you’re still willing to meet in Concord. I’ll be free Sunday after 12:00 and Monday if that works for you. Thanks.
