Anyone after a 1972 SWB K10 Super w AC, tilt, tach?

Not mine and no affiliation - bring the check book: http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/2011309?ad_cid=5. Appears correct - would like to see SPID. Good find by member Redbaron

The truck sure looks nice, but the vin# seams funky 1V5346GHL234W21
It also appears to have at least 1 repaint .

Sure looks correct and not messed with. I suspect a repaint too. The underside of the hood is awful glossy. My K5 is from Boise. This K10 would make a nice member of the family. Love the slots.

Great looking truck. Hopefully it isnt rusted out. If the SPID is missing, chipflyer can make a new one, problem solved.

That's not the original color ( or a factory color either ) look closely, it was a dark olive green truck with just an exterior repaint. Look at the dash and inside of the doors.

Looking forward to seeing them Kevin!

I'd like to think the VIN is just a typo but as always do due diligence. Repaint aside, the only item I caught that looks out of place is the apparent lack of the vac pod bracket. All the small Super items appear present. If anyone learns more (i.e. corresponds with the owner) please let us know.

Re: Anyone after a 1972 SWB K10 Super w AC, tilt, tach?

Here's the SPID. Not the best pictures, but the truck is right and the true vin is on it.
Has a slight off color repaint on the body and door jams about 10 to 12 years ago.
Told the rockers with both front and rear inner fenders were changed with NOS parts then.
He said the trim is aftermarket. Rear bumper is off of a blazer.

Re: Anyone after a 1972 SWB K10 Super w AC, tilt, tach?

pete, I talked with his wife , trying to get pics of spid ,she also said vin wouldn't go in on websights format , it was a cke vin , and I see redbaron has posted it , she sent ifo and also commented it just sold for his asking price , paint was a ten year repaint she claims same color , but its off if it is , so this proves they keep going up , just like the cameros and try-fives good investments , heres a starter project just listed tonight , not mine no affilation , and maybe I should start separate thread

Thanks for the follow-up Kevin. This was getting really tempting. Get the SWB "K" trucks while you can I suppose.

Re: Anyone after a 1972 SWB K10 Super w AC, tilt, tach?

The repaint looks like factory 505 Woodland Green, the grand daddy traditional truck color and not a metallic like Dark Olive. I was thinking it's just how I would have ordered one in '72, but would have gotten saddle interior. Then I saw the Dark Olive, which looks great, too. That's high for an unrestored truck with color change

Wow... That's a wad of cash for one that doesn't have the same shade of green inside and out. It'd be a heck of a nice truck repainted the original dark olive though!
