i just thought id make a build thread on my truck. its gonna be a slow build as this is my project as well as my daily driver. i am also working 6 days a week at 15 hours a day. so that will make it much harder. well here is the starting pic. this is the only one i have for now but ill post more when i get around to it.

Time and money. Seems like there is never enough. Looking forward to your updates. What are your plans for it?

Re: 85 c10 project

i just want to do a mild restoration. not a full frame up or anything though. i just want to clean it up, get rid of most of the rust, put a new motor, trans and rear end in and redo the interior.

Re: 85 c10 project

Other than what looks like a little surface rust in the passenger floorpan, it looks really solid. Was your carpet trashed or just taking it out to power wash it? I don't have alot experience with it but I have read it is hard to match colors through aftermarket vendors.

I just got a charcoal carpet yesterday that I am going to power wash first to see how it comes out. I will do that before to see if I can live with it or not.
