Re: What would you do, or: Am I crazy for considering trading my '72 K10 Super?

I don't think I could force myself to sell a K10 Super...

As said ... you have to make that decision ...

I like my C10 and would never sale it but ...

If you sell it there is no sellers remorse

Good luck

Come on down!! actually my road of choice for misbehavior is is about 10 miles south of Shiprock on 491 before the road gets really rough. Smooth, with a wide open view so you can see any prospective law enforcement long before you get to them. 550 has a ton of staties these days. Tribal tickets suck way less than state or county tickets.

Seems like the two-lane from Naschitti east would be pretty fun on the right day...

Re: What would you do, or: Am I crazy for considering trading my '72 K10 Super?

Good question! But I get it. When you're done, you're done.
I sold a mostly original no rust 68 CST BBC A/C Buddy bucket long bed a few years ago. Just needed some money and wasn't using it that much. My only regret is that the market was suck-o when I did it. I didn't have the time or $$ to really take it to the level I desired and I wanted to paint my Cadillac. It all worked out fine.
Now I'm building my base beater 68 into the kind of truck that you're looking for with a 6.0 and TKO.
Times, needs, and situations change.

If you can swing it, you could Johnny Cash it and build one out of cast offs and seconds like I'm doing.

Yes , good point

Are you familiar with the original name of that highway? Dont play with the fire.

Any road in Colorado is much funner than the roads in New Mexico.
By the way I dont think you are crazy at all. The girlfriend and I have a couple of toyota tundras so I get you there. I would love to own a first gen original blazer original paint and not rusted out. My suggestion would be to sell your k10 and have the money on hand to find exactly what you want.
Your truck in that condition is probably harder to find than an original paint short bed 2wd truck.
