wing (vent windows) what are the options

i have a set of good condition (except the rubber) vent windows..

1)Is it better to have these rebuilt? -
2) can you recommend a person / vendor to do this?
3)how much should i expect to pay?
4)or should i buy some reproductions?
5)what is the opinion on the quality of the reproductions compared to stock? 6)where is the best place to buy?

thanks for the help and guidance
tom

Re: wing (vent windows) what are the options

I`d replace the rubber.Repros are way pricey. The first ones sucked and recently better ones came out.i hear they are nice (in your hand).I don`t know of anyone who has run them yet.If yours need rebuilt, tear into them.if they aren`t rusty, the only thing I`ve seen them need is freeing up (with oil) or a broken spring due to not freeing them up soon enough.
