72 2-wheel drive Jimmy -converted 4x4

-Suspension has been lowered, flip kit in back and coils in front. Also has drop spindles which are currently out as it was too low with rallys.

-Newer GM crate motor, edelbrock intake, carb etc. Aluminized headers, electric fuel pump, 700R4 trans which is awesome. 373 posi rear. -Heavy duty rad with extra electric fan. Virtually no rust but needs a little clean up. I had a quote to do sandblasting in bed area ( not rusty but just grimy and needs paint, weld on lip on rear quarters (cut to clear 33’s at one time) and fix rockers that were done very poorly and blast a quick coat of paint $1500-$2000

-It has a 67-68 hood on it, decent GMC grill and bumpers. Has custom hideaway hitch behind license plate that flips down. Truck runs and drives really well but needs to be finished. Driveline is all done but needs paint and interior redone. Has buckets-console and rear seat with all black belts and visors . I am into it for $6800.00 Can with the taxes at the border, transporting it home and the $4400.00 US I paid for it. I also have a real nice set of 18’s with rubber that I picked up that I would sell if the Jimmy is sold. Wheels and tires are worth $1900.00 US and I would let them go for an extra $1500.00.Can . Or a package deal for the truck and wheels for $8000.00 Can funds...
Darrell…

I did

Yes this was the one I bought in Santa Monica but when I got there I found out it was a converted 4x4. I had already given $600. deposit and spent over $500.00 getting there so I paid for it not really sure what I was going to do with it. Then I found the 72 2 wheel blazer in Denver so I bought it and now in order to start the restoration I need to free up some cash.

Wish I had known a board member was thinking of buying this one. He had it advertised here locally as a "converted 4x4". I even called on it.

I wish I had known

What bothers me is that I specifically asked him if it was a factory 2 wheel and he said oh ya, but I never thought to look at the Vin # before I went to get it. Another lesson learned!! Since buying it I have also got the factory wiring harness and gauges, console, rear seat, black belts, dash pad and another hard top as the original was junk.
