So, noting your location as Texas/Maine, don't suppose you're headed up there any time soon!? It is a nice truck and I'd like to own it - it's a great combo. The rockers may have been done professionally, they look fine, but the half-hearted paint effort makes me suspicious of overall quality. Having said that, if it were a little lest pricey, I might also be asking you if you had a trailer...

On the road home driving thru Virginia now.

We stay in South Portland during the summer, living on our ol' boat. Too dang hot for me in Texas during the summer...

But note that a po actually wrote "350 ci" on the SPID next to the 327 RPO - I guess in case he forgot what he replaced the original engine with...? Anyway, really like 67-68 K20s and this was a nice one in its day. Seller very good with responding, we chatted a bit - I am/was interested, but too many other projects in the long run, none that I'm willing to replace with this truck. Anyway, wanted to share the SPID for awareness.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Jocko, I see it lists power steering. I have never seen P/S on a 67-68 4x4 before. I didn't think it was even offered until '69 on a 4x4? I wonder what the set up looks like? Would it have manual box with the power assisted slave cylinder like the early 2wd? Very interesting.

It also doesn't list the body side moldings.

Hi Joe! I seen a 68 4x4 with the power assist P/S. Same as the 2wd. But, it does have different brackets than the 2wd.

Joe, will look at the few eng pics I have and see if I can tell anything - if I can, will post it. I’m not convinced it still has the original motor, so might not prove anything anyway if the brackets were from the donor.

Im pretty sure Randy (TEEITUP) parted a 67 or 68 years ago that had power steering. Like you said, manual gearbox with power assist type ram setup.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

fiberglass Alaskan pop up (kinda rare) $1450 https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto...342624298.html
If I were closer...

EDIT: Just a side note on this - I saved the below pic for ref in my pile of ref pics and noticed I already have this exact same Alaskan FG, on the exact same truck, but from a different angle - and it's a pretty old pic. So, anyway, not suggesting the ad isn't legit - but I'd want to see it in person or at least talk to the seller at length to make sure it's not some pimply faced hacker re-posting pics for bucks. I still want it though
