Re: Upgrading
I knew what you meant. It says soffit on the box the material came in. Ceilings take more set up to hang compared to rolling along with soffit

Re: Upgrading
The soffit just goes all the way to the peak of the roof, that's all!

Re: Upgrading
Todays progress report. The old handrails took out and replaced with the same height as the rest. All the inside ceiling done and most of the new handrailing. He brought the new screen doors to. They will start the screen panels tomorrow hopefully. Sanding and primer & painting to start tomorrow also maybe.
The inside wall will have the same cedar wood as the outside plus the header on each end will have one cedar board cut to fit also.

Re: Upgrading
Well it was all put in place to check fitment and now all of the screens are on the porch so we can sand & paint everything. We are almost done sanding so we will start painting later today. Getting really close now. Hope to start putting all the screens in Monday.
Rhett found him some friends also. We made him a mask to wear so he could sneek up on gra to! This little guy keeps us busy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo135KafPDY

Re: Upgrading
Well I drove home yesterday to Liberty. The wife said they got most of the painting done to the covered porch before it started raining. Here is the last pictures I took before I left. All the screen panels are in place now this was the night before they finished up.
I'll post newer ones once she sends them.

I look at your pictures of Rhett with that critter and now I have a GEICO ad with the Gecko! How did he know what I was looking at?
Well Andy, the easy part is done now. The hard part will be getting you to slow down and sit in one of those chairs for some 12oz curls!

Re: Upgrading
Well the porch is all done so I started on the yard before I left. I bought 1 pallet worth of fresh sod and had it laid out in the front yard.
When I go back in June I plan to buy another pallet worth and that should do the full yard. If not I buy another pallet in July are August to finish it up.

Re: Upgrading
Well we are now upgrading the house in Liberty SC. Back porch getting some well deserve upgrades. Replacing 30 year old rotten boards with new stuff. New screen doors & screen through out.
New pool liner also with a salt system instead of chlorine. It's filling up now. Next on the list is new concrete.

Re: Upgrading
Well we are back at the beach house and I had 2 more pallets of sod put down. This time I had them use their machine to cut a 2" top layer off before they put the sod down. Man what a difference it made.

Re: Upgrading
Well it's poured and today we can start parking the carts back on it.
I got a 20x20x5" thick pad to park and work on carts under the shed now. I ran power on both sides of the doors yesterday. I will use my old ramp to go on the back side of the concrete for a cooking platform so when we do boils we can sit under the shed and cook. Got to get the fan installed and more lights.
