License Plate Ideas

I've got a 91 black K5 blazer that I'm about to license, I'm thinking of plate names that would be cool. I'm going to lift it pretty soon so I was thinking about "High 5", anybody got any other ideas?

Brad, I'm from Texas, thanks for the lead on that great plate..... Just kidding! actually, I can't put together the acronym? I'm dense, so when you tell me, it'll be like, duh!

Also, I have my own special plate I'll be submitting for, but not brave enough to post it on here... feel sure it'll be gone by the time ready to register it.

In Texas, it's hard to register plates... First, inspection, then title transfer and finally apply for personalized plates.

Since I started the frame off before registering it, I"m bound to wait the very end (when the rear view mirror is reinstalled) before getting inspected, titled, and licensed.

Anyway, here's a few more plate ideas:

TOPLEZ
RAT4X4
LUKNOMR
BADBOW
2TIGHT
IEAT4D
8ITCOOL

Ok, that's all I can give away, the rest will be on the application as options 1 through 6.
Greg

Exactly, what is the point to get one if ppl can't figure it out

I might use one or two of these when I go to register the Blazer again, I need something good for mine. But I want something that mention's the 454

Iownza, you are looking for something relating to the 454? There is one I listed above that mentions this motor, but only 'old' farts will know it. The Big Block motors when they first came out were knicknamed 'RAT' motors. That nickname held from the late 60's through the early 70's. That's why I suggested RAT 4X4 !

Another would be 454 4X4

Why were they known as RAT motors?

In racing circles in the late 60's the Chevy small block was referred to as a 'mouse motor'. When the 400 small block came out (same outside configeration as the 283....350) but a different block all together, it was tagged a 'super mouse'. The big blocks, 396...427...454 had the distinction during this period as being a 'Rat' motor.

I have not seen any old literature, magazines or other that call it by this name, but know it to be true. One of these days I'll dig into history a little more and find some specific propoganda, sales, or other articles referring to this information.
