At columbus state community college in columbus ohio, they have a 97 or 98 mustang cobra(a true cobra at that) black with tan top and tan inertior that has 74 miles on it. Had been there it's whole life.

Re: how rare is this ?

when I was in high school, shop had about a 85 lwb c10 with the 250 I6 and auto. It had less then 100 miles on it. But the paint and interior looked like it had 200k on it. lol. ran like a top though.

Re: how rare is this ?

we had a brand spanking new 89 Bonneville donated my junior year. it was a flood car with about 7 miles on it. it ran like crap and no one knew why. so I decided to tackle it and fixed it 2 days later. I got the pleasure of teaching our teacher. 2 months later we cut it apart and saved the front due to shop space limitations.

Re: how rare is this ?

We had a car like that in auto shop when I was in high school. It too was a flood car. If you look I think you would find that all of those cars are flood cars or otherwise totaled. They were likely sitting on a dealer lot and got flooded out. The auto manufacturer donates them to education and uses it as a write-off.

Re: how rare is this ?

they either flag the VIN as un-titleable or remove the VIN. we also had an Army duece&1/2 and a 74ish C10 with a bent frame that was used as a push truck
