Re: 66swb

What do you estimate your front and rear drop is? And....did you go with 16” wheels to help clear front lower control arm from hitting a drop spindle?

Could you give some more detail here? It looks great and I'd like to do something similar.
I'm not familiar with redline resto, and some preliminary googling turned up a few small shops.

3/5 static drop. I used 2 1/2” drop spindles from CCP along with a 1” drop coil. Yes, 16” cleared LCA. Needed to grind a bit off LCA see the outside edge of the rotor.

I picked up the Lokar pedal some time ago, if I remember correctly it’s 67-70. Let me go through my paperwork see if I can find it.

67-70, bought it in 2016.

Re: 66swb

Thanks for the wheel and suspension info.
How about steering?.....I see you have the period idler arm and also have power steering.
Are all of your steering components from 65 Such as centerline, inner and out tie rods, or is it a mix of late model as well?
Sorry for all the questions but I’m hoping to do many of the same Upgrades .

All new period correct (66) Moog replacement steering components. I went with Vintage Air serpentine Frontrunner system, which comes with alternator, water and power steering pump. Ididit column. 2 1/2” drop spindles from CCP.

Your avatar image looks like the truck has some caps now. Is that from previous or have you made changes?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
