Re: Fought the urge but it was too good of a deal!!

There's at least a dozen w/in 5 miles of my home here in Oklahoma that I'd like to have, but I don't think I need anymore..... I'm lucky; have plenty of $$, plenty of barns to store stuff and wife of 25 years that understands my obsessive/compulsive disorder manifests itself in old trucks.

msgross and meangreen,
Wish I had known about the AGR program program after PCS'ing all over the world for 28 years, although didn't have it too bad. Home base was always OK and when I went somewhere, family stayed put. Been retired since May 2010.

Geez Dave, you sure have the stuff.
My daughter moved back to Michigan with us so it doesn't look like I'll be coming back to Marietta. Sure wish we would have gotten together the few times I was down there.

I was an air tech crew chief on the A-10 for 14 years here in Battle Creek Michigan. We had AGRs too and it was a pretty good deal. They never went PCS that I remember, although they could have.

I got one more move (maybe) back to the land of son and sweet old cars (Arizona) and maybe be retired in the next 24 months....It's all good. When I do find where home is, I will start back into painting and body repair...Buffing/Polishing is the last hurdle. Cannot wait till this summer when we get back west...
