Arrow Post your GM part numbers here

I figured we should have a thread for factory part numbers for easy reference. Anytime you get a receipt from the dealer try to list the part number and name of part here. It doesn't matter how small the part is. It may help a fellow board member who is looking for an "oddball" part!. Lets try to keep this as simple as possible. Heres a few I have bought for my 70'. I hope these are valid everywhere, otherwise this post is useless.

Upper steering column bearing - 5679205
Chrome turn signal lever - 3909580
Turn signal switch - 1972751
Turn signal switch harness assembly for the above switch - 1894851
Turn signal cancel cam - 3902190
Detent seal for detent cable - 1262475 (350 turbo)
Transmission filler tube seal (top hat later style) - 1259475 (350 turbo)
Transmission filler tube seal (O-ring earlier style) - 6264902 (350 turbo)

I read this on another post, can't vouch for it and I don't know which is left or right.

Re: Post your GM part numbers here

GM must have changed #'s again, the 5 cab light lenses I bought for my truck are part #684662 in the new style box. Here's some more in case you guys need specific ones:

Roof marker lens gasket, 69-72 Gr. 2.575-#12337943 (new # should be availbile at your dealer, old one is 3942898)
Window regulator handle, 69-72 Gr. 10.797-#20348200
Gas tank neck grommet, 67-70 Gr. 3.008-#3886792 - this is a good # that any dealer should be able to get
Winshield wiper switch, 2 speed, #1993432
Door handle escutcheon(black, paint to match), Gr. 16.270-#3939997
Brake light switch, Gr. 2.4447-#1261219
Windshield washer hose grommet(goes on firewall), #3746483
Interior mirror cover(usually black, I have two NOS and one is dark metallic green from GM), 69-72 Gr. 16.069-#3971007
Heater control switch, Gr. 8.852-#3840039
Hockey puck cab lens, 69-70 #5961757
Rear red sidemarker light, 69-72 Gr. 2.575-#916087
Front amber sidemarker light, 69-72 Gr.2.575-#915788(had three #'s on the box, all crossed out except this one)
Clutch rod swivel, 67-72 Gr. 0.787-#3918467
Deluxe Delco radio knob, 69-72 #1991087, also has 1991072 on the package

If I can relocate some of the papers that I wrote my 327 part numbers on, I just might hit you up on your offer. I have been informed by the previous owner that my truck came with a factory ordered, blueprinted 300HP 327. The number on the glovebox, and the spec sheet lists the engine option 04L30AC. (It has been 8 months since I saw this number, so I hope it is correct).
