Re: Happy Leap Day!

I had my first coffee-injury today...carrying a wonderful cup to the den, when I felt a killer sneeze building. I stifled it with much effort, and I think I broke a rib or two...

Didn't spill my coffee though...

Count my long-departed paternal grandfather in that group. He used to enjoy being a young man his entire life!

That reminds me when I was young I went to some party and they had this high loft in the den. I knew this girl that was there (she was a fun girl).Well she was pretty happy at the time. and fell down the stairs to this loft and they were some pretty steep stairs. We all went to see if she was okay and she held up her bottle of beer and yelled "didn't spill a drop!'

She wasn't kidding. She didn't spill a drop.

Re: Happy Leap Day!

I usually skip leap day. But every four years I figure what the heck. Wouldn't it be proper for work to cease on Feb 29th? Or should employees get a full day of overtime? Is it right to fire someone for a no-show when it's ok to skip that day 75% of the time?
