Re: Sean Murphy Carbs

I don't know him either. I get out to my local carburetor wizards who have been in business long enough to pass their skills on to the next generation

Re: Sean Murphy Carbs

I learned on the quadrajet as a teen and have never owned any other brand carb. I always rebuilt my own.

Re: Sean Murphy Carbs

My first carb overhaul was on a 4gc Rochester. Imagine the look on this 18 year-old's face when he turned it over and all those check balls fell out. And the exploded diagram was little help. Q-Jets are a piece of cake compared to those things. Still ran well after installation, but I was sweating bullets.
