Quadrajet Throttle Linkage Frustration
Been a while since I was last on here. I'm trying to hook my gas petal up but I'm having a heck of a time figuring out what I'm doing wrong. I'm beginning to think I was given the wrong throttle linkage rod.

Not sure why the picture posted upside down. Dumb computer. Also I just have the clip sitting on the rod. Not sure if it even goes there.

Looks like you should have the pin on the rod in the next hole to the end. The loops on the clip should go over the pin on each side of the carb linkage then snap the clip down on the rod. If that makes sense. Haha

The end you have at the carb belongs on the accelerator linkage at the firewall.

It does look like newer carb meant for newer style ball and cable or clip and cable
