Bed attachment

I'm helping my dad put his '65 wood bed back together and I'm in the need for a few pictures for help. When we took the truck apart the bed was so rusty that the cross sills fell off when we picked the bed up. If anyone has a good diagram or pictures of their bed with out the wood in it yet, could you post some pictures for me. I've only messed with steel beds on '67-72 so, I'm not sure how the wood beds bolt back together. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bed attachment

If it were me I'd check in the FAQ section - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=646002
On the web page menu bar click edit - find - type in bed. All kinds of threads with pictures show up.

Re: Bed attachment

I don't have a Wood bed. So I don't have Pics.
I found this info that might help when you go back with the Floor.
http://www.gmcpauls.com/47-72_BedWood_Info.htm

Is it a step side or fleet-side?

Re: Bed attachment

I'm going to install a fleetside bed on my 66 Service Truck. Saving this thread for reference.
