HI, I went to www.DHL.com and found a phone # 1-800-225-5345.
They pick up at your house for 3 dollars and I thought that was great.
Both times they delivered days before they said it would get there. Yea, I said days! I do not know how they did it but they did. Try them out, I do not think you will be disappointed.

I set up an account with them on line. It was easy, only took about an hour. They then sent me their shipping kit (kinda silly), and now I have an account #. I can weigh, and print shipping labels just like I can with my UPS account, but it's usually about $1-$2 cheaper than UPS. I drop everything off at Office Max on my way home from work.

Yesterday I was walking my dog and saw a DHL driver stop at a house. There were lots of kids playing around. You could tell the DHL driver was in a hurry, but he still waited until I walked down the street to give him the all clear that none of the kids were in the way.
I've seen other brown trucks about take out parked cars.
DHL has my business.

For the last few weeks in my area, you get your second package shipped for free, up to a $10 value. I've saved about $75 in shipping . They're in Office Max here in Abilene TX. They are faster than UPS. That may be because they are just starting up around here. They'll probably slow down after the hollidays.

We switched to DHL about 5 months ago and the only problem we have with them is the monthly billing is always higher than the quoted shipping charge but it's still cheaper than UPS's daily pickup by 30 to 60%. DHL 15x16x16 21 lbs to Bakersfield Ca 11.62 UPS 21.40.

ewwww that hurts. I have always had really good dealings with ups but have been having some things come by DHL lately. Everything has been here right on time. I'm more familar with UPS so I will stick with them if Ihave anything to ship.

Thumbs up

Hey guys i Work for DHL as an aircraft mech. and just saw this and its nice to see positive things being said about the company i work for .

As with any shipping there will be lost packages and messy claims but thats just part of the biz.

Any way just some FIY DHL has been in biz for 35 years and UPS & FEDEX Cant even come close to us on the international circuit.

And we just bought Airborne Express last year for there ground logistics so we can give the other guys a run for their money.

Other than the US post office we dilever to more zip codes than anyone else.

Never shipped with DHL, so i really dont know about all that... i do know they delivered mail to my company that was stationed in Afghanistan.

However! since they have bought Airbourne Express they now deliver our paychecks... the past 3 paydays..(6 weeks) they have been between 3 and 5 hours late.. of course i blaim the driver rather than the company.. before the drive we have now.. they were either on time or early.. never late..

here comes santa !

My brother used them to ship me a 67-72 manual. A week later he had called me and asked if i had got the package i was not sure what he was talking about as it was to be a surprise. When i did not call him to thank him for the book he got worried. I had told him that i did not get the package. he gave me the tracking number and i got on the computer and looked it up. they said that it was delivered. I called them told them that i did not receive the package and they said i did. After about ten minutes back and forth they informed me that i did get the package so whats a person to do i gave up. 4 days later a freind of mine called me and told me that he had a package with my name on it. It was the package i was looking for he was not sure how long he had it at his door as they just got back from vacation and he called me as soon as he got in the house. His address is the same as mine except for the last part mine is court his is drive. IF the driver would have read the package properly i would have got it on time no excuse the road signs are visible and clear. bad service!!!!!! called them back told them what happened thinking they would refund my brothers money and apolagize but no such luck.

You guys south of the border have it easy with shipping. Try shipping with DHL or UPS up here in Canada. If they don't lose it, it takes forever. It's way more money, but if it's important up here use Fed Ex

Hey Bisquik...I got mine safe and sound. I think it showed up a day before schedule, which is fine, but no one was there to move it inside. I was under the carport when I drove up.
