Exhaust Manifold Recommendations - 1972 GMC K1500

Looking for recommendations for exhaust manifolds for my 72, dad and I pulled the motor for a rebuild and one of the stock ones had a major crack so I'm looking to upgrade a little bit.

I've been looking at the ram horn style center dumps but was curious what members thought and if my options were limited because the truck is a 4x4.

Thanks!

edit: Looks like my picture uploaded sideways again but there she is last year after a fresh brush on clear coat - good from 20 feet!

Re: Exhaust Manifold Recommendations - 1972 GMC K1500

The smaller 2” exit center dumps were factory on the K1500. I would encourage a set of the reproduction Corvette 2 1/2” outlet manifolds.

On a mild motor, they make power equal to a set of 1 5/8” headers IME. And come with none of the hassles.

I used two passenger side manifolds from a 64-65 ‘vette if I remember and I cut the generator mount off.
