Re: Side markers ?

Below is one option. These were used on some 80s and early 90s vans. I'm not sure of the exact years. They are plentiful and fit flusher to the body than the normal 2 styles used on 68-72 trucks.

First owner, those are what I used. Nice fit and much less money.

Got my Van lights from tuckers. I also ground the back off them a little to make em fit more flush than normal.

Re: Side markers ?

How about an adhesive that anyone has found that works to keep the trim on the deluxe markers?

The stainless trim fell off mine in less than a year with it just sitting untouched while I rebuilt the rest of the truck. Can't imagine how soon they would have come off it it was getting washed regularly and they were subjected to freeway wind pressure too.

At least I have all of the pieces to glue back on this way It would have sucked to loose some on the road.

I used Loctite clear epoxy. I have not driven it much since, but that was over a year ago and they are still on.

Re: Side markers ?

The trim was a little loose on my markers. All I did was use pliers and pinched the back of the trim a tiny bit and no more loose trim.

Re: Side markers ?

I also run van sidemarkers. Is kida wired that so many other people do to because I never see any other pickups with them in person. I got mine for a 85 g 30 van. I had to go used so they would not stand out. And the hole thing lights up. Not just half or on case of the "deluxe " a little squart in the middle.
