My advice to you is to immediately clean the cab up. When you get all the charred stuff out it won't look so bad and it should raise your spirits to see it isn't really that bad.

BTW, I'm new here, Howdy, y'all.

I guess it was from the heat. No the tank never exploed, thank god. I am in the process of taking off all the burn items inside. I need everything new inside. It is a dirty mess.

Sorry about your loss. Just take a deep breath and clean up the inside so it will not look so bad and then maybe people from the board can offer up some things you need to rebuildl I have a gauge cluster with out tach if you need it. Let me know.

I've not been to the web for a few days, come back and find this! WOW, I'm very sorry to see your pride and joy with 3rd degree burns. However, gentlemen we can rebuild it! The photos actually don't look that bad. You've got a great starting point. Now think of all the cool things you can do to your interior. Put in some insulation, new carpet, relocate the tank to the back and use all the extra room for a killer sound system.

Now to get on my soap box to also add, when you replace the seat make certain you get ones with head rests and put in a 3 point seat belt.

I can't wait to see the pics when it's done.

Start looking for a cheap complete parts truck. You can even replace the metal dash if that is needed. Your truck looks to good to wright off. Good luck. B.B.
