I think the motor is worth more than the truck.
I was diggin it until I saw the bed. That was a real buzz-kill for me.

Isn't that about the standard size for beds on newer trucks like the 4 door Colorado?

Well, it seems as though another Floridian has smoked him or her self retarded! I can give props to an old-skool hemi, but they seem to work better in old 300's, Belvedere's, Cuda's, etc... Then again- there's folks on this board shoe-horning 472 and 500 ci Caddy mills in their trucks with little repercussions from fellow enthusiasts. But the the bed? I shake my head in awe-struck bewilderment. If the guy woulda crew-cabbed the beast and then had the stubby bed out back that's one thing, at least he'd be rollin' a fairly safe wheelbase. But this hack job is both FUGLY and has to be squirrely as all hell on any surface less perfect than an airport tarmac.

I agree, you have to love the hemi weather it is meant for it or not. But the bed just killed it. Maybe this guy was going for a street driven wheel stander?? IDK but it would look better as a fleetside wacked like that.

"1967 Chevy Shortbed"

Thats an understatement if I've ever heard one!!! Certainly is a good looking motor. It would look better in the 28-29 Model A coupe rat rod i'm building

I have to imagine that is one wild ride. It has a 392 Hemi with a short ram intake, 3 deuces, a 5 speed tranny, shortened wheel base and MANUAL BRAKES.....YIKES

I saw the manual brakes and wondered how long before he shortens the front to match.

Re: 1967 C10 Short , Short with a Mopar Hemi

all joking aside... I think the motor looks cool in there... I would run it in the shop truck I am building... THis is like the thread that was going last week about what do you like/look for in a truck... Here is a guy who spent many many hours and did a ton of fab work... the fit and finish is not all that bad BUT WHY

As I said in the other post, Beauty is in the eye of the guy with the welder!

I love the dash and glove box! I have been toying with the idea of making both for my trucks....now that I have seen it I am definitely doing it!

I am with ya on the shortbed, but at least they did the fenders right.

A hemi? Scary fast I'll bet!
