Hole ID

What are the bumpy holes in front of the front bump stop brackets used for?

Re: Hole ID

When I disassembled it, the brake hose was in the hole to the rear of the bump stop. I don’t know if that was the correct place or not.

Re: Hole ID

Might have to ask a previous owner that question.

And I do believe my brake line is suppose to be down a hole

Re: Hole ID

My frame is a 69 and the axle is a 72. So maybe when It had drum brakes the hose came out in a different location?

Re: Hole ID

I converted a 70 to disc brakes and had to drill the hole in the frame for the brake hoses.

Re: Hole ID

Thanks for the replies. I wanted to confirm before I started making hard lines. To be honest there are a lot of frame holes that I can’t ID yet.
