Wrecked 60-66 Pic

I came across this one in a Facebook page. We have any members with wrecked vehicles or is this a taboo topic?

Whole truck still seems salvageable! What facebook page is this? I'm on there and can't seem to find anything familiar.

Re: Wrecked 60-66 Pic

My dad's truck was hit by a gravel truck and it ripped the front clip and cab right off of it. Dad said he was sitting there in the seat, open to the world, watching the engine sputter and die. That happened in '71 or early '72. they used junk parts to fix the truck and bondo-ed what wasn't perfect. He was really angry about it and refused to sign it off so the shop could be paid. They approached Mother after he died (late '72) and she signed it off. I always wondered what happened to that truck. She sold it rather quickly even though I and my brothers begged her for it.

I love the stories that my Dad used to tell me about the Columbus Day Storm. He had his practice on 41st and Woodstock in Portland in '62, and talked about windows imploding. What was your experience?

My 65 back in the early 80's.
We used to go mudding a lot - until I totalled it.
