I finally got my front done! it should be a breeze for you cause you don't have long tube headers do you? my best advice whether you have them or not is put your socket on your bolt and if you have a cheater bar, or jack handle use it to help give you some leverage and pull at it, might take a few try before it comes loose but I know you can get it, make sure to spray wd-40 or something to make it easier as well.

On your front shocks the bolt thats on the frame is a 1, the bottom is I believe a 7/16ths, I can't remember what sizes were for the rear. Just trying to help you out some being as I just did mine. Oh take the wheels off too makes life waaaaaaay easier.

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

Thanks man!! That is helpful but i dont have a cheater bar or jack handle! My neighbor might though... No long tubes yet...I have some i got from Cubber I havent test fitted since the exhaust needs to be adjusted for them. I plan to get some wd-40 and spray the bolts the night before and hit them the Sat morning. Just ready to stop bouncing all over

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

Haha I understand you there man, mine is really firm now but I have to admit it's nice to finally have the truck stout where like you said it's not bouncing all over the road.

I will tell you this on the drive side I was able to be under the truck and get it done pretty easy, but the passenger side, I actually had my rotor about a 1foot off the ground because I wasn't able to attack it from the bottom, I was leaning over the core support, but you might be able to get under and do it since you have the stock manifolds. I'll be at my dad's Friday, so I'll go to the garage and I'll get all the bolts looked at so I can tell you what sizes you'll need and make life a little bit easier on you. I also had long tube headers too so I had to ghetto rig everything we're I was able to get room, you should of seen it was pretty funny made for a good laugh.

If you have anything else you need let me know since I just did mind it's pretty fresh on the mind of course, but like I said I'll get you all the bolt sizes and stuff on Friday post them here for you that way it can make it easier on yourself. I will tell you biggest thing is just be patient with it man.

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

Hey Jeff just happened to come to my dads tonight to take care of some stuff, so I went and checked the bolts I used for the shocks and here's what I found, the rear shocks the top bolt is a 3/4 and the bottom bolt is a 7/8, in the front the top inside bolt for the frame is a 1 and the bottom is also a 3/4 I would suggest use a 6 point socket that'll work best to get all the bolts off.

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

Welcome man, were all here to help one another so I just see it as putting my part in helping out. I will tell you this on the front and rear shock you will have to do a little double wrenching when it comes to tightening the bolts back on
