Post 72 doors on ebay

Can someone answer me this? Check out these doors one ebay. According to the auction, 72 doors are rare. Why is this? I thought 67-72 doors were all the same. I'm new to the truck world so I'm trying to learn as much as I can about these trucks. Thanks guys.

Small design changes in 72 like:

1. reenforcement screw by wing vent post
2. Plastic snap on panels vs. steel screw on
3. Plastic panels required longer rods on the regulator and latch handles.

Rare, no, but one year only with above changes. Worth extra money, no. Unless you are doing a 100% concours restoration on a 72, then yes worth more.

There is a post on here talking about ebay. One thing to be careful about is dealing with people with no feedback. This looks suspicious. May be legit, but why part just the doors on such a nice truck.

check out his/her other auctions,,,,,wants 50 bucks for an owners manual,,,,,and $400 for a GMC tailgate,,,,,something wrong there. Ebay is great but you have to check out everyone and email them with any questions,,,,,if they don't respond or send back questionable response leave it alone,,,,another great deal will come along!!!!

No feedback, no sale. Besides, I agree. $750 for those doors, he must be on crack.

Those are some nice doors. If they were red I would be writing a check. Where can you find original doors, loaded, with no rust, at any price? Crack I think not. That truck today is parted out. The doors are all that is left, to my understanding. You must have watched the Syracuse doors about two weks ago. about 265 bucks ea, bare, with speaker holes. Original inner fenders wanted.
Have a safe Memorial day. Lots of crazies on the road. Extra cops nation wide on spotchecks.

Well, they have a set at the local junkyard on a 72 GMC. $100 a pop complete. No significant rust, no speaker holes.
